Africa and Climatic change

The African continent is particularly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change because of widespread poverty, recurrent droughts, inequitable land distribution, and overdependence on rain-fed agriculture.
Although adaptation options are available, in practice the human, infrastructural, and economic response capacity to effect timely response actions may well be beyond the economic means of some countries.

I agree with you
My husband and me are Greenpeace members. We are all working together to get the WORLD to open their eyes to Global warming. We are trying very hard to get our government and car dealers to find a good affordable fuel alternative beside fossil fules, which are destroying our planet. We are getting more and more people involved, but it seems like the big OIL people are always trying to stop this from happening. Its a very sad thing. Because there is much more to life than money.
If we as a WHOLE planet dont work together, soon it is going to be to late for all of us.I'm scared, not for me ,but for the children that are young and will have a horrible future or no future.
We as humans have done this damage to our Earth, it is our responsibility to work together and fix it, so it can be a beautiful place for all of us to live again.
I think if we all stopped fighting, and put or energies to good use, everything would work out great,
Thanks for listening and peace to all of you in Africa and around the world,
Erie from Ohio in the United States
